Hello & welcome to my blog! My name is Kim B. I am a Christian who has been married to my high school sweetheart Jeff for almost 23 years. We have 4 amazing sons who keep us busy playing football, basketball & lacrosse. My husband took a God led leap of faith & quit his job of 17 years back in September of 2010. We have been on quite the journey! Although, it wasn’t easy, God was/is faithful & continues to strengthen us day by day. Jeff has since gone back to work in the corporate world & I too have found a part-time job that suits me perfectly 🙂 We are still taking one day at a time, but we know that by persevering we WILL eventually make it to the promise land, thus we are the Canaan Bound Brigade 🙂

Hi Kim, Reading your blog takes me back to my own “leap of faith” in 1982. I decided to ‘comment’ here and hopefully encourage you. We have followed God’s leading as closely as we could for many, many years – and he is faithful. He will never leave you or forsake you. My old ‘Living Bible’ says “How well he understands me and knows what is best for me at all times” Ephe. 1:8 It’s going to be fun to follow your blog and see how your are blessed moving forward.
